If you find your lost pet on these pages, contact the Shelter at 320-257-0103. Prior to releasing your pet to you, you must provide proof of current rabies vaccination for impounded dogs, cats, and ferrets, or arrange with the facility to have it done at a veterinary office.

The impound fee is $42.00 plus $11.50 per day boarding, plus tax. Each additional impound during our licensing year (June 1 to May 31) increases the impound fee by $113.00 - a very important reason to keep your pet confined. Fees must be paid in full prior to your pet’s release.

Dogs living in St. Cloud are required to be licensed prior to their release. Dog licenses are $10.25 for spayed and neutered dogs, $6.25 for spayed and neutered dogs belonging to seniors 65 and over, and $25.75 for intact dogs. Licenses may be obtained at the animal shelter or at City Hall.
